Most high school coaches and select league coaches do not have the time, even if they have the contacts to pave the way to the next level. You must take this aspect, as well as, conditioning and skill work training into your own hands to "insure" that you'll reach the next level.
Far too many players sit home after high school, or settle for a much lesser collegiate situation than they deserve. This is all because the player and his parents have no idea what to do. The same is true of players graduating from top collegiate programs. i.e. many of them never get a chance at professional baseball when they could easily qualify to play professional baseball overseas, put up "some number" and re-promote themselves to the U.S. professional baseball system. It's a tragedy really!
This manual is written with the sole purpose of giving you as much information as possible about getting you or your son to the next level. It is by far not everything that exists on the subject; nor is it intended to be. However, this is a compilation of facts and baseball information and contacts that should help you on your way. By the way, these same techniques can be used for girls softball and/or any other sport. The system works the same if you use the same basic approach.
